Udara Pulajith is a Textile Engineer at Z-PULSE, bringing over two decades of experience in performance apparel, wearable technology, and product innovation. With a deep-rooted background in textile engineering and prototyping, His work spans the end-to-end development of innovative wearable solutions, including smart garments and health-focused wearables, in collaboration with internationally recognized brands.

Udara is named inventor on multiple international patents in wearable electronics, compression devices, and smart textiles, underscoring his role as a leading innovator in the soft-good and e-textile domain. He has played a key role in translating research-driven concepts into functional, manufacturable prototypes, often bridging the gap between engineering, design, and commercialization.

Prior to Z-PULSE, Udara served as Lead –  Product development of MAS Twinery, the innovation arm of MAS Holdings, one of South Asia’s largest apparel manufacturers. He also contributed to research initiatives at the University of Southampton’s E-Textile Innovation Lab, supporting pioneering work on rehabilitation and haptic feedback systems.

Udara holds a BSc in Textile and Clothing Engineering from the University of Moratuwa and brings a rare combination of hands-on product development, manufacturing insight, and technical design expertise. His work directly supports Z-PULSE’s mission to commercialize next-generation self-power medical devices to wearables flatform.
